I am ambivalent about Sharp but the Jones kid looks like a real solid prospect. NHL ready, 6'4, 225lb D-man who was +30 in the AHL last year and looked good. Will be a great piece with Dallas's young D fighting to make the squad. Sharp will be OK but he's declining, still a good guy to have on the 2nd line and PP.

Honestly the trade is addition by subtract. Daley was one of the worst D in the league last year at defending and Garbutt was the master of bad penalties. Both are moved in the same deal for good assets returning. Nill fleeced Bowman here.
