Is there a tshirt? Hell yes then. I left my jersey at home, cuz I just thought to look on Stubhub at like 10am today. Beating myself up for going in plain clothes.

The last playoff game I went to was obviously the season the Oilers made the cup run. But it was round 2 game 3 versus San Jose. Oilers were down 2-0 in the series so losing that game pretty much would have put them out of it. It went into double OT and I believe Horcoff scored. That was the start of their big run, they won that series 4-2 and then were up 3-0 versus Anaheim in round 3 before losing a game agian.

Yeah they missed a few calls after setting the bar with the holding on Moore. Oh well. Bad play by Boyle anyway, just get it out.

Yea if it was square on the numbers it should've been called, it was off center. Whistles were away for most of the night. I was a bit upset that Glass didn't get called for the high stick on Holtby.

Ovechkin played amazing. Nash played like shit. Your best players need to be your best players.

Nash had a disappointing end of the season and a predictable disappointing playoff so far. Maybe seeing ovi playing like he did will ignite him, doubtful though...

also miller can go fuck off. how do you let ward sit there in front of the net. he knew he fucked up the second he got the bench with av destroying him

Fuck that noise. Fuck it so hard. Fuck fuck fuck.

Both teams played really well, could have gone either way. But what a shitty way to end it. MSG was in shock.

It wasn't Miller's man. It was McDonaugh's or Stepans. Both him and Stepan chased Ovi behind the net. Usually the D stays in front of the net in a situation like that. Generally when two people are chasing one guy, someone else is open.

I expect every single game in the series to be tight and any team could win. I'll be honest when I say I did like seeing some of the Rangers already looking for hits and causing bad passes.

Boyle was the one fucking up though covering the puck there instead of just clearing it down. He is an old weak man and plays like that lately too. I'd rather see Hunwick in to be honest. Oh well. I think the Rangers, aside from sloppiness, played a better game and should do much better I'd guess.

Boyle elected to try to run down the clock. He's 5'11, old, bent at the knees, and turning his back to an incoming player in the dying seconds of a tied playoff game. That's on him. Especially after the puck was picked from Ovechkin with plenty of space to toss it down-ice.

I didn't watch a lot of Rangers games this season, since this guild has so many fans I have a question. Is Cam Talbot ready to take up a full time starter role and what do you think Edmonton would have to trade for him?

Yes, he was our starter for two months and we went like 15-3-2 or so in that period. He's going to be UFA in a year or so, I think, so hopefully we trade him for something. I would think seeing how well developed he is, something along 2nd round pick or so should work. I wouldn't hate Yakupov of course, but we'd need to see what Sather and Gorton can do with Chiarelli.

I'd also like to point out how almost every post by Rush, in this Playoff 2015 thread, is about the Oilers in some way. ;P

Calvin Pickard could be a thought as well. He only played 16 games but had a .932SV%. However, I'm unsure of what Edmonton could offer to make it a fair deal.

To be honest I'm just jealous everyone has someone to cheer for at this time in the season. And normally I wouldn't post much but this has been a pretty interesting 2 weeks in Edmonton so why not.

I'm thinking the Oilers will dangle their first round pick they got from Pittsburgh to pickup either a goalie or a solid 1-2 D.
