The same standard I got, I'm ok with this. I had the added bonus of knowing Rallik as well.

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
I have mixed feelings about this. Like McDavid is an unreal talent and I'm super excited to watch him play. But on the other hand I have absolutely no confidence what so ever that oilers management has any clue how to build around talent. I see lots of comments about them ruining the best talent sin...

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
That's true I forgot how much he was making. Osgood made 2-3mil which is perfect for someone like him or Crawford. I think the Kane/Toews contracts were huge mistakes as well, those 2 players are something like 21% of their total cap, there's now way they'll be able to renew contracts for their grea...

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
Crawford is just ok, I wouldn't consider him an elite goaltender by any means. But they have won a cup with him and Detroit did a bunch of times with Osgood so you can't really count them out based on average goaltending. That said I have Nashville winning the West in my bracket so fuck Crawford and...

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
The torture of another Oiler season is over. Time for the offseason which has been the same for the past 9 years. First the fan base will hate on the team and demand changes. MacT will draft another top prospect and follow that up with some minor signings of the teams RFA'S and maybe a UFA or two. T...

That was 100% me, I completely forgot that CoP made Mind Blast instant cast.

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
Ya there are websites that you can input all the teams of the people involved and set values for everything like goals/assists, wins shutouts and whatever else you want to include. I usually do this every year with friends where we get together for wings and beer and pick teams and then I just put t...

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
The kind of draft Im talking about is something we usually do amongst friends in small groups like 6-7 people. It's like a fantasy draft lite. The rules are super simple, basic snake draft where each person takes say 10 players but you must have 1 goalie and say 2 D. There are no trades or lineups t...

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
I visit r/hockey a lot so that's where my bias of people crapping all over Edmonton comes from. I know that subreddit is generally a pretty big circle jerk so I usually don't let it get to me. But for most of the season there was endless posts about how Edmonton doesn't deserve another high draft pi...

Re: 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff Talk
The biggest thing about LA losing to Edmonton tonight was the fact that Edmonton's roster is pretty much 50% AHL players as well as having Hall and Klinkhammer who are natural wingers forced into center which of course is the most difficult/important forward position. As an Oiler fan it was kinda ni...

Re: Insert Cliche "Rolling" Title Here
That was a cool video, once I buy a new GPU (soon) I think I'll start doing my own recordings to add the pov's. Back in ToT I used to stream our raids and made youtube videos from them but I have no skills at all when it comes to editing or anything of that nature so they were pretty terrible.
